This is Lake Nahuel Huapi, the largest of the lakes at Nahuel Huapi National Park, occupying about 8% of the park's area.
The park, located in the southwestern portion of the Neuquén Province and west of the Río Negro Province, covers an extension of 705,000 hectares and preserves an extensive and representative area of the Andean region of north Patagonia.
